Our Vision For The School Of The Holy Spirit

The School of the Holy Spirit will always be deeply rooted in the Word of God. As the founders of this school, we ascribe to the fact that the Bible was inspired by God, and no matter how much our society may change, the Bible is to be held as the ultimate rule of faith and practice in our lives. With this as our point of beginning, these Scriptures can be viewed as the cornerstone on which every other facet of our school is built. Embracing these facts can only lead to one conclusion.

We hold these truths to be immutable.

Jesus declared: Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (Matthew 24:35)

God has promised, …I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. (Joel 2:28-29)

On the Day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter announced that the above prophecy was being fulfilled. Thus we believe the Church began on the Day of Pentecost. It was a “spirit-filled” Church. Therefore all churches should be “spirit-filled” churches. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. (Ephesians 4:4-6)

There are different opinions regarding what it means to be a “spirit-filled” church. Our views will be very clear as we share our understanding of the Scriptures. We would never attempt to “tell” you what to believe or what your Pastor should preach. But one of our goals is to bring clarity to the Doctrine of the Holy Spirit, which has been sadly lacking. We hope you will allow our instructors to share with you.

Since our view of the Church is as stated, we desire to be transparent about our goals. We seek not to divide but to unite the Body of Christ. Walking in love with each other as Christians must supersede our different views. People of all faiths are welcome to engage in the study of the Holy Spirit in our school.

We desire to see the fulfillment of these great promises I have listed above in our lifetime. If you have read this far on our school website, we are sure you desire to see these prophecies fulfilled as well. We have embraced a vision we believe was given to us by our Heavenly Father to share everything we have learned about the Holy Spirit. We hope you will embrace this vision as well.
